Socks Washington (aka Sidney Nelson) is a rockhound in South Dakota. Ever since Socks was a little kid, he loved to find treasure (sometimes after he buried it himself). When he discovered agates, he found his calling. With each agate taking millions of years to form and being totally unique, they're the ultimate treasure. 

This site was created to display and sell the artwork that Socks produces. His drawings are based on agates, where he finds them, and the other treasures he picks up along the way. 

 

 

Don't bother Socks with questions about orders; he's the artist. Noelle is managing the site like the nurturing big sister she's always been.
